BELVIDERE – Every year for the last 10 years, toy hobbyists, enthusiasts and collectors descend on Belvidere at the Big Thunder Grange Toy Show and Sale to buy, sell and trade toys of various kinds. This year, the event was held Sunday, Nov. 16 at the Boone County Fairgrounds.
Kenneth D. Wahler, formerly of Belvidere/Rockford, left us peacefully on Nov. 5, 2008, at the Springfield Senior Living home in Garland, Texas, where he had resided for his last years under the loving care of the Springfield owners [son Mark Wahler and his wife, Sandra] and their staff.
